Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault
SOURCE: can't find air filter for central pneumatic air compressor
If you are talking about the air intake filter, then you should have gotten one with the air compressor. Harbor freight is bad about hiding these in the packing. Mine was in a hole / compartment in the foam packing and very easy to miss.
You can call HF at the number in the manual to pay for and order a replacement air filter - they are plastic & foam and thus very cheap.
Depending on how long it has been since your purchase (and if you have your receipt), you might convince them to send you a replacement for free.
SOURCE: I have a Central Pneumatic,
If air leaks when motor is off, fault most likely in-tank check valve. Follow discharge air line from pump to tank. Brass/steel valve at tank is the check valve. Remove hose to valve and check for leak. Replace as needed. If air is leaking while motor is running fault could be reed valves in head. Faulty reed valves in head, or torn head gaskets will cause very hot discharge air and tank will most likely never fill to shut off (or take a very long time to fill)
