A large portion of the discoloration I see has got nothing to do with the metal, which is normally a genuinely latent aluminum shrouded in aluminum oxide. What seems to happen a considerable amount is flying creatures sit on the aerials and simply do what falls into place without a hitch - abandoning somewhat of a stain. I put in a couple of years adrift and saw a gooney bird perch on a pivoting radar elevated medium-term. The following morning the deck underneath was a wreck of semi-processed fish, an enormous sum for only one winged creature!

SOURCE: Why are roof tiles, under TV aerials, discoloured on most roofs?

Most of the discolouration I see has got nothing to do with the metal, which is usually a fairly inert aluminium covered in aluminium oxide. What does seem to happen quite a lot is birds sit on the aerials and just do what comes naturally - leaving behind a bit of a stain. I spent a few years at sea and saw an albatross roost on a rotating radar aerial overnight. The next morning the deck underneath was a mess of semi-digested fish, a huge amount for just one bird! Here you will get more information about aerials.

What is the length of a rafter on a 6 12 pitch in a 10 spand?

The if the sloped length of the truss rafter is L, the roof span S, the roof angle A, and the overhang V, then the equation for L is

L = V + R/(2cos(A))

The equivalent formula using the pitch, P, is

L = V + (R/2)sqrt(1+P2)

Concrete tile or Clay tile

clay tiles have little more lifespan than that of concrete. While clay tile is only popular in its red color, concrete tiles are available in wide range of colors.
Clay tiles break easily but concretes do not. But both concrete and clay tiles are the pinnacles of beauty.

What is the best roof support system for a 2 car garage

Steel beams will need to be used if you want open space with no poles. Laminated beams can also be used but support poles will have to be added. Build a truss roof over top and do away with the flat roof.

I have concrete tiles on a flat concrete roof deck and i am getting

It would make more sense to raise the tiles off the deck, allowing more room for drainage and eliminating the concrete to concrete contact. The air gap would do that, as well as make the water drain much faster and easier, which in turn makes the concrete last longer.
