New Belkin router 9230-4 at main unit and 9050 wireless adapter on remote PC. Everything is fine at the router with PC #1, a single user PC. At PC #2 (with the wireless adapter) one user is able to get a read of available networks, shows generally good level 5 strength and is able to acess the Internet without problem. When switched to the second user on this remote PC though the Belkin icon is in the Tray there are no available networks shown and that user cannot connect to the Internet.
Several reinstalls of the wireless adapter software have failed to resolved the problem.

GENERAL ROUTERS RESETING
1-With the unit on, place a paper clip into the hole on the back of the unit labeled Reset. 2-Hold paper clip down for 10 seconds and release.
3-The unit will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the unit is reset.
Resetting the router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will change all settings back to factory defaults
if you have not changed any settings from belkin router, access the wireless configuration on your windows machine and search for the belkin ssid then hit on connect
Your wireless router is prompting you for a password in order to log onto your network. If you do not remember your password, you can reset the routers' configuration by holding down the reset button on the back of the router, and you can then use the default user name and password to change the settings. HOWEVER, you will lose all of your network settings so if you have multiple devices connected via wireless, they will also have to be reset.
If you need help re-configuring your router, visit the router manufacturer's web page. There should be a tutorial to walk you through the process.
If you happen to have a Linksys wireless router, here is their page: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-a-Linksys-Router
Use this tip as a check list. Check if you set the correct SSID + Key and "connect if router is not broadcasting" set in your adapter configuration. If you do not know Key you need to reset from Router. If you missed SSID you can check on any PC when connected to WLAN and retrieve the name of NON BROADCASTED network
Sometimes wireless phones will interfere with the signals. If the router or PC is anywhere near a phone, it might have a problem. I have one wireless network card that gives me fits like that. I have yet to get a PC working with it. I have other wireless cards that work fine. I also switched to 5GHz phones, which helped my old laptop. Check to make sure there's not a conflict with the encryption used by either the dell or the router.
In this case can you please tell me what is your wireless router and how may computer do you have so we can check if this is a problem with the wireless router or with the netgear wireless adapter. because if you only have 1 wireless computer so the problem here is with the wireless router we may need to change some wireless settings like the wireless channel .....
