I recommend that you contact your nearest authorized service center, or you can download operators and service manuals directly from the Agrifab website by clicking on the provided link:
I have to assume you are trying to install a newer blower made in the last five years to the GT 5000.
Two ways to get the manual. But you need the model number off the snow blower attachment itself. The blower is made by Agri-Fab.
First way. managemylife.com. Click on the manuals tab, put in your model number and get your free manual.
Second, if you can't find it on managemylife.com. http://www.agri-fab.com/manuals.aspx. Push the "click here" in the middle of the page to go to the manuals section. If you are having problems call the 800 number on the top of the screen.
Part of the blower when new and first installed was a
1) pivot bar
2) lift link from blower to pivot
3) lift link from pivot to center of the tractor
the pivot was to be installed on a pre-made bracket on the frame just inside the front grille. A hole in the front part of the frame allowed the longer lift link to attach to that bar and go to the center of the tractor. Those two pieces remain on the tractor as permanent, and the lift link from the blower to the pivot bar to be removed or installed as you intend to use the blower. If you have purchased the blower used, the original tractor it was installed on still has those pieces on it. Your local Deere dealer can provide the pieces if needed.
Go to sears.com and lookup in the parts listings for the tractors model number and the snowblowers model number and they will show all the attachments and brackets needed to run it. Hope This Helps Don
