Cant put musci on my RCA Pearl 512 MB Digital Audio Player - TH11

my RCA pearl mp3 player will not go from the first setting and i cant listen to the music.

because you only have 2 gigs of space get a bigger mp3 player for more music or degrade the quality of the songs say about 64kbps will fit more music on the mp3

my pearl was drop in the water but it still works and when i plug it on to the computer i cany put any more songs on it

How can I delete the book section so I can put more music on the player?

Had a problem of corrupted files on MP3 player so i formatted it with windows then i was not being able to see songs that i added to MP3 player, so i cleaned firmware to version 999.999 then reloaded version 1.01 firmware on the Thomson 6652 1GB now it thinks it is a RCA using the files from this site and it works great - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MBBAL40C

had the same prob with th1100 (512 mb ver) went to rca site, downloaded firmware upgrade. ran it 3 times with no result. finally checked the box "format data area" worked like a charm. hope this helps.
