Check to see if the cooling fan is working properly. You should hear it running if you put your ears close when the computer is on. If the fan is working and the cause of overheating is not the fan, then you may have a deffective battery, check to see that the battery can take up charge. If the battery is fine, then you may have a chip inside the computer that is overheating because of internal defect. This job would be best left for experts.
SOURCE: I NED REMOVE BIOS PASWORD
first you can remove lap top battery and cmos battery and keep your laptop 24 hours after you can reinsert your bios battery and main battery after switch on it. if still having the same issue?? " You call tech support. give PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. You then tell them your service tag/serial number, they enter it in a equation which parses the number and tey will give you a one time use password "

You will have to remove the power cord, remove the batteryand remove the CMOS Battery that is located on the motherboard. On mostcomputers you will have to take the laptop apart to get to the cmosbattery. On some systems it looks like a silver nickel that you will needa small flat head screw driver to pop it out. On other systems it will beinside a vinyl covering and has a cable that plugs into the motherboard. Once you remove the CMOS Battery, let it sit for an hour or two then put itback in and put the laptop back together. Boot the machine and you'llprobably have to go into the Bios or System Setup because the system will haveforgotten the date, time and password.
If the password is not removed you will have to read the manual. In fact read the manual before trying the steps above. The manual will give you specific instructions on resetting the Bios Password.
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "ToshibaSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for manuals and search them for Bios Password or Bios Password Reset.
