I just bought a John deere 310e. It's supposedly a 1999. I need to know where the fuel filter is located. I want to change the filter but want to see where it is located and what it looks like

Fuel filters on riding mowers are in fuel lines between the carbuator and fuel tank, you may also have a shut off valve in the fuel line. easy to change a couple of clamps to hold the fuel filter tight.

SOURCE: how do I change the fuel filter in a 1999 Buick Century Custom?

Philly, the fuel filter is attached to the frame in front of the gas tank, under the driver side of the car. You must relieve the pressure in the fuel line before you start, and it is also recommended that you disconnect the neg. battery cable. After disconnecting the neg. cable, remove the gas cap. Next, look under the hood on the fuel rail for a shrader valve (like the type on a bicycle tire). Place a rag under the valve, remove the cap, and press the valve in with a plastic pen to relieve the pressure in the line. You can now go under the car to remove the filter. You can disconnect the fuel lines easily with an inexpensive plastic disk made for this purpose (only a few $ for several sizes at a parts store). Be careful of fuel in the line that will drain out, no smoking or sparks during this procedure. Should be 1 bolt securing filter to frame. Note arrow on new filter, and install in the correct direction. Replace cap on shrader valve, put gas cap back on, reconnect battery cable. The low coolant light is probably a faulty sensor signaling that it's low, when it's actually ok. Look for wires coming from the reservoir bottle, you should be able to find the sensor at the end of the wires to replace it. If you change the fuel filter in a garage, leave the door open for air circulation, gas fumes can explode easily, having the door open will help dissipate the fumes.

SOURCE: location of the fuel filter P38 4.6 Range Rover 1999

The last one of these I saw the filter was in the tank. This is after checking the manual that said it was in the RH rear wheel arch.

SOURCE: We have a John Deere lawn mower model JS45. Just

this problem is related to the auto-snesing carburator. If you wrap the throttle cable, that runs down the left side of the mower, around the handle several times and tie wrap in place the mower will run. I had the same issue with mine. the manual is vague at best when it describes how to fix. After you wrap the cable around the handle, it will tighten the cable and the mower will run.

SOURCE: Just changed the fuel filter on a John deere 1020,

If the fuel filter is full when replaced it shouldn't be necessary. But if you have access to compressed air, put air to the fuel tank and that will do it. Hope that helps ya.

How Bleeding John Deere 6300

Open the filter drain and turn key to first position. This should run the fuel tank transfer pump and fuel should come out the filter drain.

If you don't hear the fuel pump run then you'll need to investigate why it's not powered at first key position.
