I am trying 2 descale my Nespresso Gemini CS220.when I press the 3 buttons, nothing happens.In other words, menu does not come up on the screen.R there any other buttons which I can press instead ?

You need to PASTE the Item in a Program. Open Word and a Blank Doc and the Right Click PASTE.... should be there...:)

I had the same issue. This is what a did:
Turn off the machine
Remove the tray/container and leave it outside
Turn on the machine and this time the power button should be flashing (preheating) then hold both cup buttons for 3 sec and it will be back to normal opertion....
For some reason the sensor needs to read that the tray/container is out of the machine...

Just a brief addition, I don't have the Magimix model, but I have a similar one. It loses it's programmed settings if it is unplugged or switched off at the wall, but if you leave it plugged in but turn it off with the switch at the back it keeps the settings you have put in. It draws virtually no power when it's switched off with the switch on the machine, (I checked it with a power meter).
Just thought I'd share that with you.
