Are you frosting up at the condensor or did you mean the evaporator? If its the condensor then make sure the coils are clean. Still then you will need a tech to look at the seale system. If its the evaporator and the heater is ok then it could be the timer or the terminator on the compressor. Most of the time its the timer.

My freezer is heating up?

Because a freezer only does one thing and that is freeze things, unfortunatly any things that breaks on a freezer causes the same thing. Is it running, does the fan work (frost free) are the shelves melting (non frost free) can you hear the compressor running , is the condensor fan running ?

Freezer doesnt freeze and red light at top came on

If freezer is icing up, you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model

Frost free freezer is frosting up

Your door seal is not sealing properly . Check and use a hairdryer to soften the seal and the magnetic portion should seal itself against the cabinet .

Freezer frost

An upright freezer that is not frost free will have the coils in the shelves (shelves are non-removeable) and that is where the frost will buildup.  If your model is like this then it will have to be defrosted periodically.  If your not sure then give me the entire model # from the sticker inside the freezer and I will look it up for you.
