My Kenmore HE3 front loading washer is about 3 years old and recently began making a strange noise during the high speed spin cycle. It sounds like there are several ball bearings rolling around between the drum and the outer housing. Is the shaft bearing mounted in the rear outer housing going bad or is it possible that some coins worked their way into this area? If the bearing is the culprit, can it be replaced separately or only as part of a new rear housing half?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
When
my washer did that, I found that the shocks that hold the tub were
bad...
Check out this tip I wrote about the noise and
