How do I find a new Bose amp for my 2004 avalanche? I left the sunroof open, and it rained, and now I have no sound even though the radio and CD are working.I've been told we need to replace the amp. We've checked the fuses, and they all seem to be fine. The mute function is not on, as we can plug headphones into rear speakers, and you can hear the sound just fine. I don't even know which model of amp we need. Any help is appreciated!

The fuse is blown.To check to see if this is what the issue is,look for your cars fuse box.It is most of the time located under the dash and replace the fuses for your cars audio system.

First Visually check all your fuses. Does rig have amp for stereo by any chance? It sounds like amp is bad and/or fuse is blown. Amp is wired between radio and speakers, and a shorted amp would make crackling in speakers when radio is OFF
This means your amplifier needs to be replaced considering you already had cd player replaced. Verify power and grounds are good at amp and then replace. Thanks
