Freezer insides warm.Unplugged it& plug back in. Now plugged in, its clicks, the compressor starts, but then stops a few second later. About 30 sec to a minute later it repeats that on/off behavior.

It sounds like it may be low of freon. It could be a faulty thermostat. Try totally defrost it by unplugging. Then wait 24 hrs.

Jave them look at the temp switch in side. Sometimes if that switch goes bad no cause a clicking but a loss of power down the compressor because it thinks that it's cool enough to be freezing food

Compressor starts, then stops

Hi, this problem will be with either the starter for the compressor or could actually be the compresser itself. Both of these can be replaced but it is not something any one should do unless they have done this before and know what they are doing.

Kenmore 7.5 freezer stopped working.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I just replaced the overload relay and it does the same thing. Runs for a few seconds and the loud click from overload relay. I did notice the relay is really hot to the touch, if that matters.Coils on back are clean. I had noticed the last few months that the inside coils were frosting up quite a bit.Really had hoped it was the relay.

Compressor click

Possibly. However it sounds like the compressor is running hot which could be the relay assembly sticking with the start windings in the circuit.

Fridge and freezer are warm, i can hear a fan running, and i think what sounds like the condenser turning on, theres a click followed by a hum for a few seconds then it shuts off. It repeats this every 30...

at the back of your refrigerator, you will see the motor compressor below, at the side body of the compressor you'll find a small box attached to the body where the wires come in, take out the cover, before doing that, unplug it first. then take the cover out. now plug it, don't touch it.

see if you can hear any click sound then it will shut off. if yes unplug it and take out the overload relay attached to the compressor where the wires are connected. try to replace it, just remeber the wire matching.

When plugged in, the compressor never kicks on. It just clicks.

If the compressor is getting hot then the compressor is gone. But the price on a relay is fairly cheap so you can at least try it and if it doesnt work then return it and dump the unit. But like I said before when a compressor gets hot it means that the piston is bad and the rings are burnt and the oil is bad in the compressor.

Refrigerator buzzing for 10 seconds every 4 or 5 minutes

Buzzing is usually a fan, like one in the freezer, or back bottom - for cooling the freon. The compressor over-heat usually will make a single click (off) and a few minutes later a click (on). If the fan in the freezer stops working well, the freezer will frost up and the fridge section will not be cold enough.
