Heat, fan or both? If fan on auto, shuts off after burners off. If fan on "on" fan will run continuously with burners off. If both won't shut off, mosy likely bad thermostat.

This unit is a cooling unit only. I don't know what switch you are looking at but I don't think it's for the evap. cooler(swamp cooler). I am in the Phoenix, Arizona area and it's very common to have a evap. cooler and a seperate heat/cool system as on the hottest days the evap. cooler doesn't cool enough. I hope this helps. Please give me a positive rating. Thank you.

I just went into the Bonaire website and downloaded their FAQ on gas ducted heating from their support link. Their instructions are pretty easy to understand.

Ducted heating Bonair

It sounds like it either has an electrical fault or a thermal cutout switch is isolating the power. Dust & fluff may be restricting the inlet, it may need a clean. If that doesn't work, you need an electrician familiar with the appliance.

Bonaire vulcan comfort control

No it cant really be fitted as the evap system uses much larger duct and also in some cases people use a different type of duct that when running a gas heater threw it it tends to melt with the heat. Your best option would be to get new ducting that way you can size it correctly so you dont have air alance issues down the track.
