I can't get my YPT-210 tuned. Even at 100, when I play a C, my tuners all say it's really a B.

Hi

It maybe that you have set a transpose option.

return the keyboard to factory setting by holding down the highest white key as you turn it on. Once it has started up release the key. Try the tuning and report back.

Good luck

How do i adjust intonation on a peavey predator plus exp?

To adjust the intonation on a guitar you need the following. ..
a electronic tuner
and a small philip screwdriver

when you tune a string say low E you play the note open and adjust tell it's in tune
then to intonate play the low E at the 12th fret
producing a Harmonic, view the tuner it will be sharp or flat,
turn the small philip screw on the bridge adjustment
it only takes a small turn one way or the other so go slow
once the string is tuned at the harmonic note check to see if it's in tune played open, keep tuning and adjusting tell the strings are in tune open and at the 12th fret on all six strings
once intonation is set properly the guitar will sound better
really hope that helps?

How do I set the tuner to tune at different keys?

Good question, tuners can be simple and some are complicated
a basic automatic guitar tuner you would not have to do anything to the settings, just tune normal on the E string then slowly down tune to D most tuners are a little sensitive, so go slow
and one thing I always do is go lower than the note I'm tuning to then tune up tell it's correct, strings seem to stay in tune better
Hope this helps ?
and if you have time check back on my profile
I will be doing some video tips this weekend
showing tuning, and some basic guitar repairs
thanks for your time

Nashville tele that has the g string sounds off when playing

if you have the adjustable bridge try moving it back a little bit. the g string is a heavy string and will tend to go sharp when you have the string height up a little. make small adjustments usually only one turn or half a turn at a time. take care to note your adjustments so you can always go back to where you started. turners are nice but the ear doesn't lie. if it sounds right it's right

The only way i can tune is if i have absolute silence in my practice area. if the bass, drums or lead guitar player are just playing barely it throws the tuner completely off. is this a common problem or...

Common problem... your strings wil be excited by the surrounding noise... If you cut the gain down on your guitar to a minimum needed for the tuner to see it, that should help. If you have an acoustic guitar, the pickups in those are really sensitive to local noise and you may not be able to tune if there is much going on.

LP epiphone 100 "g" string problem,

after tuning ....put a capo on ... if this stops the problem then the cause must either be
1 the string catching in the top nut or
2 a faulty machine head
if it still goes out of tune with the capo on then look at where the ball end of the string sits
