SOURCE: Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher LIghts are blinking....

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

SOURCE: Bosch SHY56A Dishwasher

if the door doesn't shut, the push buttons should not work. that way you are not running your d/w with the door open. check the door latch, as it seems to be malfunctioning. if the d/w still does not work, replace the door latch.

SOURCE: my bosch exxcel dishwasher will not drain after wash cycle

That is because the water level switch activated by the floating sensor is stuck.

You probably need to have the water level switch replaced.

You can find parts on websites below:

SOURCE: I have the hotpoint BWM129 super silent 1200 spin,

The flashing lights means that an error had been detected.

The machine must be unplugged from main to check the drain hose and the drain pump.
The most common is that the drain pump is clogged with debris and must be unlocked.

SOURCE: After the wash cycle dishwasher beeps

Hello, welcome to FixYa. While I don't have access to my PC files at the moment as I am on my iphone, I believe this is the procedure for most B/S/H/ built dishwashers ( that means Bosch, Thermador, Siemens and Gaggenau ). To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal... 1. Open the door, hold down the ?Quick Wash? button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on. The ?Quick Wash? light will blink (program mode). 2. While the light is still blinking, push the ?Quick Wash? button. ? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled. ? When you push the button again and it doesn?t beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled. 3. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode. I hope this answer's your question. Thank you for choosing "fixya". Please rate the solution favorably if indeed it was helpful, if not please let me know. Good luck. macmarkus :)

I cannot change wash cycle. I have a super silence 44dB dishwasher

In order to help you properly we would need the model number. Usually you will find it on the edge of the door opening or edge of the door.

Thank you,

My hotpoint lumina super silent is starting a cycle but only loads the water and then doesn't spin it just stays still and counts down the time until theoad finishes and then empties the water. What's...

it's not named after that other car, is it? It's a hotpoint ultima super silent. Most likely suspect is the drive belt for the tub. Remove back cover and find the tech sheet stuffed in the unit for lots of secrets, shortcuts, and commonly replaced parts with the correct mfr part numbers. Check to see if the belt has come loose and why.

Wash Cycle Options

Delay Start (model dependent):

This option allows you to delay the start time of your dishwasher up

to 19 hours.

Sanitize:

The Sanitize feature is available only in the Heavy, Auto, Normal and Half Load cycles. Press the

"Sanitize Option" button to activate the Sanitation features during these cycles. The technical sanitation

measures may also improve the drying results. The sanitize LED or The "Water Pipe" symbol will light when sanitation

requirements are met.

Note: The dishwasher automatically defaults to Auto Wash when turned off and back on. If you used the sanitize option
in your last cycle, the dishwasher will default to Auto Wash with the Sanitize option selected when you turn it on.

To achieve proper drying, always use a liquid rinse aid, even if your detergent contains a rinse aid or

drying additive.

Note: The dishwasher indicates low rinse aid by turning on the Refill Rinse Aid indicator LED (for units without

a display) or The "Spray Looking" symbol (for units with a display).

If this light is on, you need to refill the rinse aid dispenser

I got the idea that the "squiggly arrow" has something to do with the sanitize feature also. If you post your model number "on the inside right hand side of your dishwasher door" I'll go get your manual and post the link here. Hope this helps so far! :)

Wash cycle stuck

You can attempt to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main computer for the washer. Sometimes resetting it is all that is required to correct momentary program glitches. If the problem reoccurs following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem. Let me know if you still experience problems. I hope this helps you.

Error Code "TEST"

Just had the same problem & found the following solution via the web :-
1. When tESt shows hold down both the ON/OFF Button & the START Button together & let the Test proceed holding the two buttons down for the entire test (Approx 3 Minutes ) .
Continue to hold the " buttons down until the word Done appears.
After which you should be able to proceed with the normal wash cycle

To fix, hold the Start Button in until it completes the full cycle about 3 mins. It should say end or something similar then start as normal.

Washing machine will not start wash - just beeps - key on display

Press and hold the Rinse Plus button and wait for the washer to start emitting a tone.

Whilst you are pressing and holding the Rinse Plus button, the tone increases in volume from low to high and then it briefly goes silent, before it starts over agian.

If you release the Rinse Plus button immediately the tone goes silent, then this will turn off the beeping.

If you don't release the Rinse Plus button in time, just continue to press and hold the button and the tone will cycle around again from low to high to silent.

Hope that helps.
