Fo5 error code is the soap tray.. open and close it or check the switch on it.. debris will make it stick..

type in the washer make and model and ask what the Fo5 code is

F05 error is a motor issue and to solve this error you have to check all the connections to the motor and try to remove & then reinsert/replace the motor brushes. You can also check all the connections to the motor and if everything appears fine then the motor should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

If this is a Whirlpool model the FO5 error code means:

Water Temperature Sensor Error

If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor

(NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the "F/05" error

code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and Element Relay

• Check connections to the Sensor, Heating Element and Relay

That code indicates a blockage probably in the filter. If the machine is full of water try to drain it first by lowering the outlet hose into a bucket, of course that may not be too successful if the outlet is blocked but in any event you will need to unscrew the filter and clean it out. Be prepared for some water spillage. I would appreciate your vote for me if you think I helped. w

Hello,F05 means that the pump is not getting rid of the water.
You to locate and clean the filter, and or check the pump for a blockage or restriction.

Fo5 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
To rectify the problem, do the following.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose from bottom of drum
Remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.
Remove hose from pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well .
