Hi Troy, when you say blank screen, it's an illuminated screen or you just want to say a screen without a dark image
If it is the latter, it is very feasible that the fault is in the LEDs, try turning on the TV in a dark room and with the help of a flashlight, illuminate the panel on the inside and back, to see if there is an image
If the case is a screen that looks white, the lighting would be fine and the problem could be on the Main Board

Hola Troy, cuando dices pantalla en blanco, es una pantalla iluminada o simplemente quieres decir una pantalla sin imagen oscura
Si es lo segundo, es muy factible que la falla se encuentra en los LED, prueba prender el TV en una habitacion oscura y con la ayuda de una linterna, iluminar el panel en la parte interior y posterior, para ver si hay imagen
Si el caso es una pantalla que se ve blanca, la iluminacion estaria bien y el problema podria estar en la Placa Principal

Make sure only the ac adapter is hooked up and see if you get video that way.
If not then go ahead and turn off the laptop. Unseat and reseat each memory stick into each slot one at a time in each slot one at a time and try to power it on with each memory stick reinsertion.
This will let you know if either of the memory sticks are bad or if either of the memory slots are bad.
If that doesn't work then try taking out the hard drive and see if that works. Last chance then would be the dvd drive.
If you still don't get any video at this point then the problem is a bad motherboard more then likely cause that means its not seeing any of the memory or the CPU.

This is usually a sign that the controller for the mini florescent bulbs went out. but try it on another computer maybe its your video card.
