Replacing the flashtube is not something you can do. It requires complete disassembly of the camera and delicate soldering skills. It must be sent to an authorized Kodak repair facility. It will cost a lot.

My flash is not working.

Have you dropped the camera before?
If so, the bulb of the flash mechanism in your digital camera may have been knocked loose or broken.

Try cycling through the flash modes, forced on/off, automatic, red-eye, etc. Replace/charge the batteries; flash sometimes doesn't tend to work when it doesn't have enough energy to charge.
Try going to a dark area and seeing if the flash is at least emitting some type of light, if not, bulb itself could be the problem. After trying all of these steps, and you can't see that the flash is emitting ANY type of light what so ever, you can safely assume that the bulb inside the flash is defective or broken.
If that's the case, the only way you can fix that is by calling up Kodak and their support center and seeing if they can repair it for you.

If no joy we must assume that is is a mechanical problem and the camera is in a need of a repair.
If your camera is Out of Warranty the repair of this model for this fault is about 88 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

My kodak Z740 got dropped now flash won't work. Where can I get flash bulb

KODAK doesn't sell any spare parts for the cameras. The price to have this fault repaired is about 88 pounds.
I will suggeste a local repair shop might be able to have a similar part which is compatible with this model.

Fixing your problem could be as simple as cleaning the battery contacts in the camera, or the solution could be a lot more complex and expensive. Here's a link to the Kodak Help Center - it provides a simple Q&A format to diagnose the problem and propose a solution.

MY KODAK Z812IS WON'T FLASH WHEN PIC IS TAKEN

Try pressing the flash button on the top front right of the camera. If the camera is not on 'auto' mode, you can have flash, red eye flash, or no flash.
Hope this helps, regards Wayne
