SOURCE: battery charger wont switch over to charge on a sonic scooter
The Sonic has an off board charger. IF the scooter is not charging, you may need to replace it. If you a technically inclined, you can measure the voltage out of the charger, it should be more than 28 V. You may need to contact Pride for more help.
SOURCE: can't charge my e-scooter
ok you do not need a new charger. the problem is you let the battery get too low. the battery has to have a little bit of power left in it to send to the charger, if it dosent then the charger can't tell if there is rilly a battery hooked up or not. you shuld probubly get a new battery. or you can email me and i will tell you a few things you could try to jump it back to life. SOURCE: On an E 100 Razor scooter, the battery charger shows charged
We had the same problem that I found to have a very simple fix. It seems all that needed to be done was hold in the reset button a few seconds while the battery charger was plugged in and the light on the charger turned to red and the battery charged again. Seems like too easy of a fix but it worked for my kids scooter.

you can have the battery tested for its voltage with an voltage meter and see if it is giving enough output for its purpose, but from the sounds of what you are saying it seems the battery isnt holding enough to power the scooter
