What does f mean

It depends on the context.

On an appliance digital display, it generally means "fault" and is usually followed by a code number to indicate the nature of the fault.

In text-speak or acronyms, it can mean anything. For example, in the acronym 'ASAFP', it would normally mean 'feasibly'.

Hope this helps!
