SOURCE: bogs when accelerating from an idle, rough starts.
listen for a vaccum leak.also try disconecting bat for 5 min the reconnect and start truck and hold idle at 1500-2000 for 5 min. this resets and teaches computer to self adjust
SOURCE: change timing belt and idle speed servo kit.
send me your e-mail so i can send to you full repair instruction and picture

One thing is to leave the IAC adjustment alone, you have a vachum leake betweent the mais air flow sensor or a intake leak.

the control unit is no good.i had a similar situation with a 98 tracker, and installed a switch to give it a ground for the compressor relay that comes from the a/c computer module.
it works good and goes on and off with the a/c switch.
SOURCE: vw 1992 oil pressure drops when warmed up
Hook up a manual oil pressure guage and take readings of the actual amount of oil pressure in the engine. It may be that the switch is bad even though it is new. It may also be that you have low enough oil pressure at idle to trip the switch. On my 2.0 liter the low oil switch turns on at 4.4 PSI at idle but when the engine is revved up it turns on below 26 PSI. You may also have 2 oil pressure switches, one for low and one for high. They would be located very close together on the oil filter housing. Make sure you replaced the right switch.
You want to get this straightened out quickly as VW engines are very unforgiving when you put off repairs. Hope this helps.
Testimonial: "Thank you there are two oil switches on filter housing only one was replaced"
Description & Operation
Not for Dodge Stratus Sedan
The idle air control motor (IAC) attaches to the throttle body. It is an electric stepper motor. The PCM adjusts engine idle speed through the idle air control motor to compensate for engine load, coolant temperature or barometric pressure changes. The throttle body has an air bypass passage that provides air for the engine during closed throttle idle. The idle air control motor pintle protrudes into the air bypass passage and regulates airflow through it.
The PCM adjusts engine idle speed by moving the IAC motor pintle in and out of the bypass passage. The adjustments are based on inputs the PCM receives. The inputs are from the throttle position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, coolant temperature sensor, MAP sensor, vehicle speed sensor and various switch operations (brake, park/neutral, air conditioning).

When engine rpm is above idle speed, the IAC is used for the following functions:
Off-idle dashpot
Deceleration air flow control
A/C compressor load control (also opens the passage slightly before the compressor is engaged so that the engine rpm does not dip down when the compressor engages)
