Nightly Promise will tell you about the battery charge If the batteries are low, you'll see a yellow light and you'll get a message telling you to replace the batteries soon. You can also check the battery level at any time with the Nest app.

New Nest thermostat, Model 2.8 Software version 4.0.1 keeps getting a low battery and shuts off and shuts down the furnace. Please help.

Do you have a common wire? The nest thermostat needs the common 24V C wire installed to keep the battery charged fully. Nest should tell consumers of this problem, but they don't. Its required for any powered thermostat. Even the new fancy Honeywells with touch screens etc..

Gotta realize the battery cannot run the display and wifi plus all the sensors for very long.

Razor electric scooter e 300 battery charges but won't run

first check to ensure the batter has held the charge you put into it. Just plugging the charger in does not mean the battery is holding the charge. If the battery is bad, it will drain as fast as you put it in. if the batter holds a charge, should be able to disconnect the charger and battery will show charge. if so, you have a bad connection or motor.

Batter wont stay charge

Most laptop batteries have a life expectancy of two years or 400 to 450 charge and discharge cycles. After this time, the battery may lose the ability to charge or to hold a charge for substantial periods of time. When this happens, it's likely the battery needs replacement. However, troubleshooting can narrow the problem and ensure you are not wasting money on a battery replacement.

Check Power Adapter Turn the laptop off. Remove any power cords or power sources. Separate the battery from the bottom of the laptop. Slide or press the locking mechanism to unlock the battery. Slide the battery out of the battery compartment. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Insert the opposite end of the adapter into the charging outlet on the side of a laptop. Power on the laptop. If the laptop does not turn on, the power adapter is not correctly working. If the power adapter is not working, the battery can not charge. Replace the power adapter. If the laptop powers on, the power adapter is properly working. Clean Battery Contacts Turn the computer off. Remove any power cords or sources. Take the battery out of the battery compartment. Dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol. Rub the dampened swab on the battery compartment and battery contacts. Dust and buildup can prevent battery contacts from properly charging. Slide the battery back into the battery compartment. b> Charge and Test Battery Plug the power adapter into the laptop. Charge the battery for six hours. Remove the power adapter. Turn the laptop on. If the laptop turns on and stays on for at least 30 minutes, the battery is holding a charge. If the laptop doesn't turn on or the battery doesn't power the laptop for at least 30 minutes, the battery should be replaced.

When i put it in the water and start going it works for a few feet in my control then it starts going in circles

the battery sometimes doesn't get charged very well. When the batter is low, it goes on auto pilot. When this happens to me, I'm usually turning the boat, which makes it go in circles until the batter dies. I learned that keeping the battery cool when charging will help it charge better to prevent this until fifteen or so minutes.

Purchased a 2009 Murano S. When the car is not

In that case, whenever u take it for a ride and return to your nest, lift the hood and disconnect the battery terminal which I would recommend having a clip(spring loaded clamps with metal jaws) removed from the battery. Next time you use it, first reattach the clamps to the batter, and start normally.......sodeep

Battery is dead and I want to charge it and take it in for replacement

Boost your car with jumper cables and let the car idle or drive around for about 20 minutes for the alternather charge the batter on its own .if the car shuts off after you started it might be your alternather is no good . the reason why ur alternather might not be working is because the batter all it does is give enough power for the starter to crank the engine as soon as the engine starts running it gets all its juice from the alternather and it charges the batter as well. but some times when the alternather works and the batter is dead meaning all the cells inside the batter are dead it will never take the charge from the alternather. so you would have to change the batter.

if you would like to know how you can you test both parts useing a volt-a-meter... just ask...

p.s. I think its ur batter if you never changed it. so get that changed for the winter so you wont have any more starting problems during cold wheaters
