Hi Sonya, ask, is your CD player Teac or Yamaha?
From what you say, your Compactera is in repeat 1 mode, which tells you that it will repeat the same disc or song
look for the REPEAT button on the front of your CD player and press it until the REP indication on the display disappears
If it is a Yamaha CDC635, I send you the link of the user manual
I hope you can hear all the songs
Regards Franco Dosil

Saludos Franco Dosil

SOURCE: Teac GF-350 CD Shelf System

Firstly double check that the recordable discs you have bear the label "Digital Audio" on them as per the attached picture. Secondly what happens when you go through the finialise procedure in the manual? Do you see the ?FIn--d? display when you select the finialise button? Do you see ?NO TOC? and ?REC? indicators blinking at the next step? Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

SOURCE: CD player won't play disk and says "no disk"

The problem of "'no discs'"displayed is in the mechanism in the roller thats moving back and port bringing the lense set .The old grease thier is already hardened that cause the problem.Clean that by using a lighter fluid or like that fluid to take the old grease, and put it with a new one first class grease type-A grease put only a little grease and wipe the lense with a cotton buds without any chemicals on it .Try this solution so performance will be better.

SOURCE: yamaha cdc 555 5 disc cd player

If you trust yourself enough to open the case w/o breaking stuff, then open it up UNPLUGGED, locate the laser lens (small, clear, plastic) gently clean the lens with a swab of lens cleaner for glasses.
Also clean the chrome runners that the laser assembly tracks on.

SOURCE: teac lp- u200 cd player doesn't work

Sicne this is a new system, don't waste time on it. Return it for an exchange. The CD portion is not working. The reading message indicates that the unit detects a disc, but can not read it. This is usually a problem with the optical assembly or the processing board. Neither should be a problem at this time. Replace it under warranty.

SOURCE: ford 6006 cdc cd player wont accept correct code

Either the code is incorrect or you are using the wrong Code Entry Instructions.

To check your code POST ANOTHER QUESTION quoting the  radio`s SERIAL NUMBER  ( can be found on the radio casing or by pressing either buttons 1&6  or 2 & 6 )

It normally begins with M + + + + + + (or V or L or C )

I have TEAC MP3 player MP235 and I can't listen more then 1 song. I have input repeat all int the setting, but after replaying 1. song the player is frozen and I can't listen any more. Can anybody help me...

You should restore the firmware of the device.
Please read this user manual especially the content of the page 22:

http://www.teac.eu/fileadmin/project_data/hifi/support/mp3-player/MP-235/Manuals/MP-235_english.pdf
To do recovery you will need the CD you had got together with the player. If you have not it now the recovery tool can be downloaded from this website also.
This is here:
http://www.teac.eu/no_cache/hifi-audio/support/mp3-player/mp-235/?sword_list[0]=235
It's name is Recovery Update Tool
The TEAC website give good support enough, and I hope your device will work fine again.

Unit plays well but door goes in OPEN position and will not play and if I keep try it will start to play

Honestly, when the mechanical parts wear to this extent, you're better off to buy a new CD/DVD player, since they are so much cheaper than repairing older units.

Yamaha CDC-765: sometimes skips when playing CDs

The problem is in the laser for sure. Try cleaning with a cd cleaning tool. It's the easiest solution because changing the laser is not always available solution.

Good day - I moved for my work and upon

First clean the laser head with a Qtip and alcohol. It gotta be perfectly clean, so wipe with fresh brand name qtip and make sure there is not a single dust particle on it. You gotta remove the cabinet with star screwdriver. Your beam might be tired. First try with the clean up! Unplugg before opening!

DOOR KEEPS OPENING instead of playing

Hi. there is a tiny limit switch that regulates the actual CD platform drawer(The part where you lay down the CD). this switch if faulty. it is designed to shut of the load motor when the CD tray is fully inside the unit.

this limit switch must be replaced. this is a job for a qualified Yamaha service tech. contact Yamaha for this repair.

Cd Tray

Hi Fred..

I've done about 100 CD transports so far.
Try changing any belts in the unit. On some CD players ,if the open/close belt is bad, it wont allow the CD to be read either.
Also,VERY lightly cleaning the laser lens and dusting the unit out helps too.
