SOURCE: is the external overload connect to the nurture line can protect the compressor?

if your compressor is shorted to ground then you need a new compressor. if you need help finding what compressor part# you need let me know. The external overload is there to protect the compressor from overheating, but if it doesnt work there is no protection causing compressor to possibly short to ground.

I've replaced the power supply board on my vizio e60-c3 and still the tv powers on for a brief second and then immediately turns off. Any body have any ideas what it might be?

Just a guess - the power supply is likely a switch mode type with short circuit and overload protection. Your description suggests there is an overload condition somewhere and the power supply is shutting down to protect itself (and other components).

Technics stereo SU-G75 power comes on For 5 seconds then overload light appears

Hi try to unplugged your speakers directly to the ampli to test if you don't have a short circuit with the lines or the speakers. If the problem persist you have to go to a repair/shop.

Electronics repairs

Check its main board circuit for any short circuited component on it. Especially check the horizontal scan output transistor. If it is leaky, ti will place an overload to voltages comes out from SMPS circuit, and the set will shut down, due to an overload, and this is a protection. check it. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

GE electrical house breakers keep tripping. Any problems or recalls

You may have overload that power circuit with too many appliances.
Check the load of each of the appliances on that power circuit, add them together and check to see that it does not exceed the rating of the circuit breaker.
OR
You have an overload or short/fault on an appliance on the power circuit that is protected by that circuit breaker.
To identify the faulty appliance, disconnect all the appliances on that circuit and then connect each appliance one at a time to see when the circuit breaker trips out. When that happens you have identified the faulty appliance.

My technics receiver stop playing, and display an overload message. what do you believe the is the problem ?

If you are getting an overload problem, it indicates an output load issue. Turn receiver off! remove speaker wires from the back of the unit, this will reset the protection circuit. Now power up and turn your volume right down, If the word overload stays off it means there is a short in the wire or speaker. But! if the word overload comes on "even with the wires and speakers dis-connected" it indicates a short in one or more of the audio output ic's or transistors.

Upc 900 why my overload alarme with no charge on it?

The overload circuit normally collects the current information from the inverter leg. At times when there is an actual overload, the protective circuit picked up the excess current as compared to the calculated value and thus gives an alarm. However at times when the inverter leg is short circuit or a leakage it also gives the same overload current. Is the inverter on when it gives the overload alarm? Please let us know.

Need help now

check all your wires and connections make sure that none have crossed or are short circuiting. What you are seeing is the circuit overload protection and generally is from 2 causes. 1 being what i stated that your wires are crossed or touching on one set of speakers creating a short. 2 is the power supply in either its not grounded or that its blown and overload protection is overriding. Check all the connections and let me know so i can further assist you.

Circuit Breakers Comparison

A circuit breaker is an automatically-operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit. Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then has to be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation.
