2014 palomino solaire 297rlds. None of the outlets are working. There doesn’t appear to be any breakers tripped in the box. Not sure what else to check.

SOURCE: Everytime I plug in the power cord, it trips the breaker.

Refrigerators are not designed to run on a GFCI. Try a heavy duty extension cord to the fridge from a outlet that is not GFCI protected. If it still trips you probably have a short circuit in the compressor.

SOURCE: kenmore topload washer -- model

Sounds like a bad lid switch if can't hear the drive motor running or a broken motor if drive motor is running and water drains out when machine is set to drain or spin. Check to make sure that the lid switch bumper is intact. You can manually activate the lid switch by pushing a non-conducting tool into the lid switch.

The lid switch condition can be verified by checking the continuity of the lid switch contacts and/or bypassing then running the machine. It is indeed not making contacts if there's no continuity when activated and/or still does not run when the lid switch is bypassed.

Disconnect power then release the console from the top of the cabinet by prying the console end caps then removing the screws attaching the console to the cabinet top. Pull forward and up on the console and lay it back on the hinges.

Disconnect the lid switch harness connector by pressing on the tab located in the middle and pulling it up.

Close the lid then test the lid switch contacts for continuity through the lid switch connector terminals on the cabinet top. If no gadget available to test the continuity, bypass the lid switch. Jump a wire between the terminals of the wire harness connector where the lid switch connector terminals connect to. Once done, reconnect power then run a test. The lid switch contacts are indeed not closing if the motor runs and the machine works. Replace the lid switch part number 3949238 which will require the removal of the cabinet.

The cabinet is attached to the rear of the washer by two brass-colored retaining clips. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the turned-up edge of the clip, located on both sides, and then pry back to release the clip from the slot in the cabinet.

Open and hold the lid while grabbing the cabinet front opening then tilt the top of the cabinet toward you by pulling the cabinet away from the base. This releases the front and back slots of the cabinet from the tabs in the front and back of the base.

Using the side of your leg and/or body as a support for the front of the cabinet, carefully lift up the cabinet and lay the front on a cushioned floor to access the lid switch.

Remove the lid switch ground and mounting screws then release the wire harness from the metal retainers. Pull the lid switch connector out and install the new lid switch in reverse order of the removal steps.

Bring the cabinet to the front of the washer then slide the front bottom rail of the cabinet under the rail at the base of the machine then lay down the cabinet into position ensuring that the back of the cabinet locks into the base and the slots in the cabinet sit into the tabs at the base of machine.

Reconnect the lid switch harness then push the retaining clips back down into position to secure the cabinet to the rear of the machine. Reinstall and secure the console to complete the repair.

How fix a dead electric recepticle

The first thing to check is to be sure the outlet is not on an outlet with a GFCI or AFCI. Those are protection devices that are used in unfinished areas or wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Electrcians can wire outlets some distance away from the actual device (AFCI or GFCI) and when it trips you cannot tell without looking for it. To tell if that is the case in an outlet, there are two buttons on the outlet with R and T on them. R means reset and T means test. Press the R on the outlet to reset it. If that does not change the situation, look in the breaker box for those ACFI and GFCI devices to be incorporated into a breaker and be sure that they are not tripped. IF that is not the case and no ACFI or GFCI is present, then you need to locate the circuit breaker for the outlet that you are working on AND SHUT IT OFF. Once this is done you can remove the cover plate on the outlet and then the screws holding the outlet. Pull the outlet from the box and check the wires. IF the wires appear ok, you need to see where that outlet connects to. THis connection can be to another outlet in the same room of it may connect to the box and the ceiling where the light is located. You need to check for all the connections in the celing box and look at the wire nut that the electricians use to be sure the connections are good. In some cases the connections can come loose and the outlet fails.

Help! My class c motorhome is plugged in directly to my garage for electricity yet none of the plugin outlets in motorhome work. The outlets were working just fine until I had probably too many things...

There should be a breaker panel on your motor home if that's all ok the the receptacles are probably looped from a ground fault receptacle you will need to rest the GFI button

Fuse panel in k z 204s

The fuse panel is located in the breaker box to the right of the breakers. Each fuse should be properly labeled. If a fuse is blown and there is a draw on that circuit there should be a red led that will light up to indicate which fuse has failed. If you have any other questions please respond to this thread.

HELP???

What was the voltage that you measured? Are the units 220 volt or 120 volt. Units that size are usually fed by 220 volts. What is the current rateing of the circuit breakers? Are they a double breaker with a handeling capacity of 20 amps or are they 15 amps.

You didn't mention if they ever worked? Are you feeding 120 volts or 220 volts to the two units?

Good luck,

I have three upstairs bedrooms that are all on the same circuit. My sister tried to plug in something to an outlet in her bedroom and it seems that she jiggled the plug into the outlet and the power went...

I know this may have already been checked, but make sure that any gfci may have not tripped, and also, reset all the breakers if the gfci thing doesn't work... Trust me i know it is annoying but resetting all of the breakers almost always fixes the problem.

Dehumidifier has stopped working...it appears to be electrical..no switches are working and no lights are on.

Check the outlet that the unit is plugged into, to be sure that it's still has power. If it doesn't, a circuit breaker for that outlet may have tripped. Or the outlet receptacle may have a loose wire. Try plugging the unit into another outlet that is not on the same circuit, as the one it's currently plugged into.

I would check the cord or the plug before anything else. Plug another appliance into the outlet if it works try bending the male plugs on the cord slightly and try again. If this doesnt work call the man.
