My guess is you damaged the oil pan or transmission pan.
in USA we call it a pan and not sump that is British jargon.
we'd call a hump in USA a bump or a speed bump or a huge CHUCK hole (as in wood cuck made)
or did this OFFROAD, (done lots of that me wheeling/cycles)
there are 3 kinds of smoke
1: black/gray dark , rich fuel mix.
2: white /blue tint ,smells like burning oil and is, and slow to dissipate.
3: white pure, steam, steam here, is water from coolant,
an goes away fast , and smells sweet ,just like antifreezes smells.
so the word smoke tells me nothing but is a problem.
what no take car to shop and ask? be wise and most safe.
to you and even the car.
nor any photo of damage under car posted.

Not sounding good if white smoke, usually indicates coolant into cylinders via bad head gasket or head, maybe intake leak, or piston rings gone. You, or someone didn't overfill oil by chance did you?
What's mileage & did you have any warning signs or did this just happen all of a sudden.

There are a total of 4 oxygen sensors on your truck, 2 in front of the convertor
and 2 past the convertor. an o2 sensor measure's the fuel/air mixture then sends
a signal back to your trucks computer or ecm- electronic control module. so that
the fuel mixture can be adjusted to give you better power and gas mileage. check
for locations by starting at engine and working your way back on the exhaust, it will
look like a short narrow tube with 2 wires attached embedded on your exhaust pipes.

Before you replace the alternator keep in mind the charging system is most likely controlled by the powertrain control module and this may cause a no charge condition. I suggest you have the charging system checked by a dealer before you replace the part. Or just throw one on and hope for the best?? No I do not recommend this.
