Brought a fitbit ionic went swimming with it as its ment to be water resistant to 50m now the screen is blank and wont charge properly

it is water resistant ---not water proof

Fitbits are not a reliable device I bought my wife the fitbit flex 2 for Christmas and we have had 3 replacements since January. My advice is take it back to the shop where you bought it
