Disconnect all the cables from the power supply Board and measure the output voltages. Connect the cables back one at a time powering down between each one and see what is dragging the power down.

My NAD C372 integrated amp was working normally everyday. One day, on pushing in the "Power On" button, it did not light up. No response at all.

It could be anything from a blown fuse from a power surge to a shorted capacitor ijn the power supply. There are fuses in all amplifiers. Locate it and test it with an ohmmeter.

I get no sound from my nad t175 preamp connected to a nad t973 (7 ch.) regardless of the media - rca, hdmi, et al. The fuse in the amp is fine, all the lights are working. Regarding the t175 i can see...

Possible that the amplifier has tripped and so gone to a protection mode. Remove power for few hours, press down all panel switches to drain off voltage from the processor. Also check for any short on the speakers before it is powered on.

NAD C521 on / off button light

"POWER ON: Press this Green button to switch on the power to the disc player from Standby mode. The LED will change from Amber to Green, and the EFL display will illuminate."

So besides the L.E.D. the unit has another visual indicator that it's turned ON, the display lights up. Is this worth pursuing a fix?

Nad c 370 no power

You need to look inside. There will be a fuse inside too. If your lucky it will restore the amp once replaced, but if it blows again you have a fault. You can track it down yourself if your any good, you might even see a burnt out part when looking for that fuse, otherwise get the repairman in.

Nad 310 no power

The output should be 24v ac. Sounds like you have a busted transformer. Did you check out the resistor in front of the transformer.

You sound like you know what your talking about so I will not bore you with suff like glass fuses and thermal couples.

Good luck, I have had a few items like this over the years. Sometimes it's just best to send them in to the manufacture. I would look for a replacement transformer. 120v ac to 24v ac around 5 amps. Test it out and see if it works... If not, send it in.

No power at all on NAD C370

Read page nine for some simple troubleshooting tips and see if that helps.

It *could* be a fuse but given you've owned it for a while and NAD amps often have capacitor issues in the power supply, chances are it needs some serious work by a good tech. Contact NAD directly and see what they recommend.

Nad c350 no power at all

check your output stage for bad speakers cable or bare wire of cable touch the body of amp----short circuit speaker cable----bad speaker it self------ bad input cable or defective input device .
disconnect all and check if it is ok---start to connect one by one from input to outputs------if all above failed you must contact service center for help.

Nad amp failure

Check fuses mounted near transformer . If blown check output transistor. Also check transistor transistors on small heat sink . they will cause fuse to blow.
