Does the Westinghouse LD-4055 LED TV have the LED driver built in to the power board or is it separate?

I don't believe it is. Westinghouse mention nothing about it in the Manual. However, whether it is or not, it won't make a difference in the sound system you buy. If you get your cable feed from the TV's tuner you can connect the Digital Coaxial output from the TV to your new HT receiver.

In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
