Go to www.homelite.com then in the red up top click on order parts then click launch to parts catalog then scroll down to accept agreement and then you will need to enter your model # and then you can go thru the list of breakdowns and get your part # from the diagrams.

if you didn't mix any oil with the fuel,you probally burnt the piston and cylinder up.the only to find out if you did is to pull the muffler off and look inside the cylinder and see if there are any scoring on the piston.if there is you need to replace the piston and cylinder assembly.most cost $100.00 or more.usually they are not worth repairing.i know this is not good news but i hope this helped,let me know.................

The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter, fuel line goes from the carb. to the bottom of the tank. It should rest comfortably on the bottom of the tank. The other line should go from the primer bulb to just inside the gas tank, (about an inch).
HINT: Cut the fuel lines at an angle before inserting them into the gas tank. This will allow you to get them in much easier.

remove the cover and the screw holding the recoil down, turning the pulley ccw should release the spring then wind rope around pulley and (hopefully yours has the slot in it) wind in the direction of the pulley teeth then, holding rope in slot put back on spring and wind cw till almost tight, and install screw. Usually you can do this without taking rope handle off. sometimes you have to remove handle. look at spring end in the middle and make sure its not broke as long as you have it apart. Its a easy fix.

First thing is to remove and clean the spark plug...remove carbon deposits or gummy residue (a shot or two of carb cleaner should do it !!). Check the gap on your plug to see if it is somewhere between .025 to .030 (if you have your manual it should tell you the proper gap space...if not google www.homelite.com and they should be able to give you the answer). Next re-attach plug to plug wire and place the plug base touching the cylinder head...pull start handle and see if you get a blue spark...if not then you've got a faulty magneto or a bad plug...if you have spark,open the throttle and pour about a teaspoonful of FRESH fuel mixture into the throat of the carburetor. Hold throttle open and pull start handle a few times...the engine should start and run for a few seconds...if it does then the problem lies in the fuel system. Check fuel filter inside tank...check fuel cap vent to make sure it is not clogged...check fuel lines (may be gunked up or de-composed) squeeze primer bulb to be sure gas is reaching carburetor and to make sure it has no holes or tears. Put fresh fuel in tank, choke set to full, and try to start...may take a number of pulls of the start handle...if it starts, you're probably OK, you may just have to re-adjust your carb a little...if not the problem is probably a trashed up or gummy carburetor...(you will have to clean it or rebuild it). good luck !!! ;-D
