Hi i cant sign into yahoo messenger ive tried

For the beggining try to sign in from the webinterface: Yahoo Mail. If it works, then changing connection options for your messenger. It could have changed. If it doesn't work try to reinstall Yahoo Messenger. Good luck.

If all else fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling messenger. Go to Control Panel and click on "Programs" Find messenger and click uninstall. Then go to http://messenger.yahoo.com/ to download and reinstall.

try to create a different email address.. and the sign up to yahoo messenger using your newly created email address..

And let me tell your one thing that, when to try to login to your yahoo account on yahoo messenger, your internet connection must be responding. This you can ensure by keeping your server busy(opening websites).
The problem you are telling might be caused when you are trying to login to yahoo account through yahoo messenger and yahoo mail.
I recommend you that you open yahoo account through yahoo mail(only if you are unable to sign in to yahoo account through yahoo messenger.)
yahoo mail now-a-days is providing yahoo chat service when you sign in your yahoo account on yahoo mail.
at left side of your mail box you can see yahoo mini messenger.

If you use Personal Firewall, make sure it allows your connection to receiving incoming connections and allows you to use yahoo messenger,check it out, may be it blocked your yahoo messenger. if a firewall protects your network, it may block yahoo messenger when it tries to connect to the server. You need to change your connection settings, click the Messenger menu in yahoo messenger and select Connection Preferences. Select Firewall With No Proxies. Or other way, open your Internet Explorer>Go to File>Then, 'uncheck Work Offline', make sure your Internet connection is not working offline. Then, close Internet Explorer, try to sign in your yahoo messenger.
