These phones look at the voltage on the line to determine if the line is in use.

Do you have any devices on the line that get power from the phone line? If so, they may be loading down the phone line causing this issue. If you have these types of devices on your line, try disconnecting those devices and see if the problem goes away.

Otherwise, your phone line may be defective. You may need to contact your phone company to get the problem resolved.

Vtech headset IS6200 keeps saying out of range and it will not pair to my vtech phone

Hi,

Please double check that any battery in the phone has been updated within 3 months.

Vtech also suggests using an outlet not controlled by a switch.

Otherwise, please take time factory reset your Vtech device and check for the error again.

Thank you.

How to make my 5.8 headset work with my new 6.0 headset

Sorry, you can't. Your new headset uses the DECT 6.0 protocol where your old 5.8GHz headset uses a different protocol. It would be like trying to play a videotape on a DVD player.

All of my handsets say phone in use and i cant get them to hang up

Please check the line input at the base, if the cord is damaged or the line has no dial tone, you'll receive that message in all headsets, you could test by connecting any basic wired phone to the same cord, if there's dial tone maybe you have a defective handsets base.

I forgot how to set my h700 motorola bluetooth to my new phone

Hi there,

Well you can please follow the below steps -
1. Gather and charge your cell phone and bluetooth headset.
2. Put your bluetooth headset in "pairing mode". For almost all headsets this is done by starting with the headset power off, then pressing and holding the multi-function button (the button you press to answer a call) for a few seconds. First, a light will blink showing you that the unit is on (keep holding the button) and a few seconds later, the LED on the headset will blink in alternating colors (often red-blue, but this can be anything really). The blinking lights indicate that the headset is in pairing mode.
3. Use the cell phone to "find" the headset. Usually this is a setting in the menus of the phone, and it's different for each phone. Most newer phones will have some kind of "bluetooth setup" menu. Older phones may have this menu buried in the general phone settings.
4. Provide a PIN code. When the phone "finds" the headset, it will ask for a PIN code. Most of headsets, this code is "0000". Enter 0000 into the cell phone when prompted.
5. Wait for a message. The phone and headset should connect and you should get a connection message on the phone. It should say something like "Hands Free Connection Established" or something along those lines.
6. The headset and phone are now paired.

Good Luck!!

4. Provide a PIN code. When the phone "finds" the headset, it will ask for a PIN code. For 99% of headsets, this code is "0000". Enter 0000 into the cell phone when prompted.
5. Wait for a message. The phone and headset should connect and you should get a connection message on the phone. It should say something like "Hands Free Connection Established" or something along those lines.
6. Finish up. That's it! The headset and phone are now paired.
Please post comments for more help or information......

Good Luck!!

How to replace the voice tube on pulsar 590a? Note: The previous tube broke in half...I need to remove that before putting in the new one..

gently pull the remainder of the tube out of the socket (pulling in a straight line from the headset as to not snap it inside of the socket). It will provide a significant amount of resistance just before it comes out. Just wiggle it the tinest little bit to help it pop out.

To put the new one in, just line it up with the socket and with your fingers close to the end going into the headset (within 3/4" - to keep from snapping the new one in half). Gently push it in. Once it gets past the initial kind of pop then it should slide the rest of the way really easy (like it does when you push it in for storage).

Sync the headset

You never said what model is your phone but the general practise is to pair the headset to the phone.how?? Make sure the headset is fully charged ,normally showing blue light depending on the brand. 1>While the phone is on ,press a button on the headset and it(headset)should show a blue light depending on the brand. 2>keep this button pressed and go to your phone's bluetooth configs and select a 'add audio divice' tab.The phone will search for for any headset in the vicinity till it finds yours. 3>Select your headset name shown on the phone and you could be required to enter password to pair,in this case most will be (0000)or (1234). Sorry had to be this long!!!!
