I recently procured a used 2000 hot-tub with all the bells and whistles. However, out of the four AMS-W speakers, only one works, (the radio and wiring are fine. My problem is; I can't even find a replacement for them that is moisture proof. Anyone??

Seems all flat panel TV's have bad sound mainly because there isn't room to put decent sized speakers in them, you can use the audio output RCA jacks to hook an external amp if you would like
You need to re-trace your wiring and check your fuses! It's going to be one or the other? Or your Radio is defective!
Try testing the Radio straight from the car battery (or another charged 12 volt battery) using small alligator clips to see if it works, with a good speaker hooked up to it. (A Speaker you know works, not one out of the car!)
This way you'll know if the Radio is good? If the Radio works, fuses are good and wiring is correct, than you have bad speakers!
Hope this helps! Please rate my help, if I was of any assistance to you at all! Thanks!
I had the same problem and replaced the dual coolant control valve . The part was around $200.00
on line. Make sure you label the hoses-- hard to get out. I am not geared with all the bells and whistles for auto work it took me about six hours. I have read on line that some people clean the valve and reinstall it.
I took the car to three mechanics and they tried telling me it was a blend door motor . These motors rarely go bad. MY AC works fine now. Good Luck
It sounds like the stereo has got some faulty circuitry internally. You'll need to replace the unit to be able to listen to CDs in your hot tub. you may want to look into getting a marine radio as a replacement. I'm sure this will be more suited to this application and is probably the kind that should have come with the tub in the first place. I hope this helps and good luck!
Odd about the speakers not working only when its hot out but anyways,
There is a bulb in the radio that shines throught the LCD panel to show the display, it could be burnt out, or just not getting connection.
You can rig up a bulb in the radio fairly easy, just go hit up your local Radio Shack, or go on Ebay and search for "GM Radio Bulb" they are about 20 bucks.
For the rear speakers, i'd check the connection through the trunk to make sure they aren't loose.
You'll find that there are two "hot" leads going to the radio. There's a constant hot (which is used fot the clock and perhaps the memory) and another for radio power. If the latter is the case, physically check the fuse and see if it is blown. You say the radio has power, but no sound. How do you know the radio actually has power? Check the fuses first. If that's not the problem, there's a possibility that the output transistors have been fried, in which case a new radio will be the least expensive solution.
generally each speaker in any car as a wattage range from 25 to at least 60 so if your car as four speakers lets say you would need a radio that with the four speajer channels with 200 watts but 300 would be better because it will move the factory speakers better and it wont put a load on the new radio
