You can use this program (AVIAddXSubs) for AVI files only: http://www.calcitapp.com/AVIAddXSubs.php it will add the subtitle to a movie as a Picture, and do no effect to the movie quality or size, and can make it in less than 1 minit for 700MB Movie, work fine with all TV, and PS3. But it cannot work with MKV Files if any body know any solution for MKV please Help us. Regards,,, Eng. Emad Ehliel.
Try to chang the subtitle to idx format
i think ur tv does not support arabic.srt

Hi xptareq2000,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I checked the user guide and I contacted our local dealer and they don't have any idea about the problem.
let me explain more please:
when I play a movie from the USB port and display the arabic subtitle the letters are intermittent
for example if I have the word "تليفزيون" it displayed "ت ل ي ف ز ي و ن" the letters are not attached to each others like it should be, I tried all types of subtitles(srt, sub, saa, txt,...) but no luck, please note that it worked fine with me on my pc(same movie with the same subtitle file)
Thanks in advance for your support.
I realy don't understand why it's not working, I tried every solution possible
the thing is when I set the menu language to "Arabic" the words in the menu is correctly and has no problem but in the subtitle it still seperated, the arabic language has the letters like this for example "television" but it shows to me "t e l e v i s i o n" so it's impossible to read, I changes the file type to unicode and all the options but still the same
I tried both, switch the language to english or arabic or automatic and still have the same problem.
I tried all the subtitles format, and nothing changed, the only thing that worked is the embeded subtitles
