Nokia n70 start up sim card not valid

Your phone may be locked to its Network, that's why it shows "sim card not valid". In order to use other Networks, you need to unlock your phone. just go to profile and select general, it will automatically put your device back to online

Offline mode means the sim you have inserted was not detected by your phone.Firstly clean the Sim Card slot(case)and check the connector.If the problem still persist contact nearest mobile repairing center.

then problem is with your sim card.. kindly contact customer care and ask about your sim card validity..

when it turns of in offline mode, turn it off again everytime.
after few times, it should ask you before the logo shows up "DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE IN OFFLINE MODE?"
SELECT NO, AND VIOLA. ITS IN GENERAL MODE

getting offline in the sense if u not put ur sim inside the cell it turns to offline mode. and again after v put the sim inside it asks whether to continue in offline or not. u need to give No..try it out..

where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
