Cannot connect htc diamond with pc via usb?? - HTC Touch Diamond Smartphone

First, download Windows Mobile Device Center from Microsoft ( Google it) and install it in Windows 7
Secondly, plug the HTC diamond touch with USB connection and wait for the windows update search the driver of HTC Diamond Touch.(This will take a while)
Then It will ready to go.

Connect your phone to the PC via USB cable and use ActiveSync (windows xp) or Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronize your data.
Or:
Connect your phone to the PC and open as a drive in "Computer" on the PC.
After you connect your phone, open your phone's Settings/Connections and chose the usb connection type you want to use.

There is no driver needed to simply charge the phone using the USB cable connected to the PC. It charges automatically, but in order to connect and synchronize, you will need to download and install Microsoft ActiveSync (for windows XP) from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync-download.mspx

In case using Windows Vista or WIndows 7, download and install WIndows Mobile Device Center from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/device-center-download.mspx

get the genuine cable form the vendor. Most llikely the data cable is not working. USE GENUIENE DATA CABLES

I as follow:
Start, settings, connections, Usb to pc, clear the first Square box if it ticked. It will sort your problem.

Try installing Microsoft ActiveSync (for windows XP) on your computer from the disk that came with the phone.

when u plug u r USB cable to u r PC it ask for two options
1. Active Sync
2. internal storage

select second option and drag and drop what ever u intrest

make sure that the cable you are using is on its working condition and the file manager you have uinstalled in compatible with your phone.
