Hi i've had the same problem Put a phial of Kal stop into 1000 or 1500ml of water into the tank, let it heat up and it should break down the limescale of the solenoid. It's worked for me. Have a good evening;-)

gauge not working
Alas My machine seems to have the same ailment, the water is heating up, according to the dial, but no steam is coming out. I think this must be a problem with the machine, rather than a blockage in the pipe, because the iron won't work either. Any advice gratefuly received, my Polti is sadly missed!!
