Remove the SD card

The card needs to be formatted properly first that's all,
formatting is better done in a card reader.

Right click on it and select format select FAT32 as the files system

Now connect the tomtom but don't let tomtom home run. exit TTH if need be.

You now ned to select your tom tom which will also show as a drive.

In windows explorer select tools then folder options. Click view and tick the box for "show hidden files and folders"

It may warn you but you can ignore it.
then just copy ALL the files from the tom tom to your sd card

DO NOT USE CUT AND PASTE !

Once all the files are on switch off the tom tom and insert the sd card
It should now work

Cant set it

    Setting the Time
  1. G-Shock watches feature a digital display that is set using the function buttons on the outside of the watch face. To set the time, press and hold the the upper left button until the seconds unit blinks on the display. Reset the seconds to "00" by pressing the lower right button.

Push the lower left button to switch to the hours unit, which will start blinking. Advance the hour by pressing the lower right button. If you hold down the lower right button, it will advance the hour unit at a higher rate of speed. Once the hour is set, press the lower left button to switch to the minutes unit. As with the hours unit, pressing the lower right button will advance the minutes and holding it down will advance the minutes rapidly.

Once the time is set, press the upper left button to save the setting.
  2. Backlight
  3. The backlight on a G-Shock watch has a manual control and an automatic function that will light the face of the watch whenever the alarm, countdown alarm or hourly alarm ring. To use the manual backlight, press the button on the bottom of timepiece. The light will glow for approximately 2 seconds before going out.

The automatic function is set by pressing and holding the lower right button. When the automatic function is set, an indicator icon will display on the watch face above the seconds unit. You can turn off the automatic backlight function by pressing and holding the lower right button until the icon disappears.

Note that backlight causes a drain on the battery, and overuse of the backlight will greatly reduce battery life.
  4. Setting the Alarm
  5. The G-Shock has an alarm that emits an audible tone for approximately 20 seconds when it turns on. To set the alarm, press the lower left button until "AL" displays in the upper left corner of the timepiece. Press and hold the upper left button until the hours unit starts to blink. Adjust the hour by pressing the lower right button. As when setting the time, you can advance the hour at a higher rate of speed by holding down the lower right button.

Once the hour unit is set, press the lower left button to advance to the minutes. Use the lower right button to set the minutes. Follow these same instructions to set the month and day you want the alarm set.

When the alarm time and date are entered, press the upper left button to save the setting. Push the lower left button three times to return the G-Shock to "Timekeeping" mode.

E machines flat computer screen began blinking and having colored lines going through it after turning black. By odd mishap I realized when I pressed on the screen it stopped doing that. That has been...

By the way, is it an LCD screen? I guess so. LCDs have small IC's either on the lower portion or in the left side of the screen. When these become loose, the tendency is to have vertical or horizontal lines on the screen. Hot air blower might solve the problem. But most will not. Better claim warranty or replace the unit.

Sony rear projection screen is red then tv shuts off

Can be 1 of 2 things. 1st the red tube just needs the voltage to it turned down. In the front of TV (you have to remove the lower front half of TV to access it) is a plastic square with 6 knobs. The from left to right top knobs control focus for blue, green red. The bottom knobs control voltage to each tube in same order (so lower right knob for red) turn SLOWLY to left to reduce voltage until excessive red and lines go away. If you over turn left or right set will turn off. If that does not fix it or if lines reappear then option 2 is that red picture tube is failing outright and needs replacement.
