I want to erase all the music that is in there and

Akai or Sony- just problem with erasing head. Usually erasing head looks like black and smoller near reading head. Can be problem deeper inside 'Tape Decks'- wire, no signal to the head and etc.

no nottin will be erased unless u erase it i have 4 computers and i have put mine on all and i have 156 songs on mine

do u have computer system? use the windows explorer do this, if u have system. but if u don't when u a on each music files se;ect option and delete them one by one.

get a new one

You hit "messaging", then send message, then Picture Mail. You then scroll down to recent contact list. There you will have the option to erase from the list.

you might have to erase each song by hand.. i had to erase all my songs and in my player make sure i only have the song once

Use Windows Media Player to erase songs

To erase a music file, you must plug the K3 into the computer, and when a window pops up that says "Open in Folder", "Open with Media Player", etc. Choose "Open in Folder" then go to "Internal Storage", then choose "Music". From there, you can delete by artist, or if you click on a folder that has an artist's name for the title, you can erase by album. From there you can erase by track by double clicking on an album folder.
To erase, right click the folder you wish to delete, and select "Delete".

The "My Selections" playlist? You have to delete the entire playlist. Or do you just want to get rid of old music on it? It's a plug and play device (on XP at least) and you can delete what you don't want from there.
