Hi,
Yes, Acronis is probably incompatible with the beta edition of Windows 7.

However it will probably work on the RC (release candidate) edition of Win 7 as Microsoft made this particular edition easy to work with and does work with many XP and Vista programs.
You cannot download the RC edition from Microsoft now but if you use and torrent clients download the RC edition from a torrent site.
Microsoft releases Windows 7 to the public next month but you still have until next March to evaluate Windows 7 RC.

Regards.

I have used acronis and win 7 with no issue.

Be aware though that win7 beta has a lot of versions so one may work fine and another maybe not.

As a Technet member I have the latest version and proper key etc.

Pirate versions may be subject to virus and other unwanted side effects.

I need acronis true image 11 home serial no

If you are installing a trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2011 or Acronis Disk Director 11 Home, you do not need a serial number.

If you have an OEM version of an Acronis product (e.g. preinstalled on your hard disk, notebook etc), please contact your OEM vendor for a serial key.

If you purchased your Acronis product online, then you should have received your serial number in an automatic E-mail that was sent to the E-mail address that you provided at the time of the purchase.

If you purchased your Acronis product offline at a retail store, then the location of the serial number depends on the package:
  • Boxed product, that consists of the CD, White CD Sleeve, Quick Start Guide. - The serial number sticker is affixed to the back of White CD Sleeve;
  • DVD Amaray Case, that consists of the CD and Quick Start Guide. - The serial number sticker is affixed inside the DVD case on right hand side. Directly above where the CD is held in place.
If you still cannot find your serial number, you can try contacting Acronis Customer Central here: http://www.acronis.com/support/index.html?ow=1

When i turn it on it just says-SMART HARD DISK IS ABOUT TO FAIL,BACK UP THEN PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE,MY LAP TOP WAS ALREADY PRE-INSTALLED WITH WINDOWS 7 SO I DONT HAVE INSTALLATION CD

Hard disks with S.M.A.R.T. technology have internal checks that may identify problems with your hard disk that may lead to fatal failures, warning yu in advance (it is very common when people hit or let their laptops bump against the table - hard disk drives are very sensitive to shocks and bumps...)

First of all: BACK-UP ALL FILES YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT, SPECIALLY YOUR OWN  DOCUMENTS!

One way to solve your problem could be to download and install a 30-day trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2011 from http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/  and use it to generate a full backup image of your hard disk into an external USB hard disk drive . Please, generate also the Bootable Rescue Media CD.

Then buy a replacement disk, install it in the laptop and use the Bootable Rescue CD to start Acronis True Image directly from the CD and recovery your backup, reinstalling everything back to your laptop, in just a few minutes.

Although using the trial version of Acronis True Image will help you in this emergency case, you might want to buy it as it is an exceptional tool to have for cases like this.

Another way would be to download all the drivers for the devices installed in your computer, save them in a CD or flash drive, buy and install a new hard disk, buy a Windows installation CD and reinstall your laptop from scratch, using the drivers you downloaded earlier to reinstall them to your laptop..

f you need further assistance, please, feel free to ask us here at FixYa.

Hope this info may help you.

Possible to install Windows XP on an Acer 5532?

Yes you could but Acer won't support it. You either have Vista or 7 in it. If Vista, update to 7 and be done with it.
If you want XP, first copy a full image of your present OS on a external drive using a program like Acronis True Image Home. Then reformat your hard drive when doing an XP install. Do you have a full version XP install disk?

I can't get out of try and decide. When I tried

Acronis has an application that run before the OS called Acronis loader. It is posible it gets corrupt. Try the booting cd with acronis rescue media. Then Uninstall the boot loader. Ultimately, if you cannot do backup/restore from the computer, extract the hard drive, using and hard disk to USB adapter, do the nessesary operations on othe computer that you will hookup the hardrive.
