Acronis True Image 2009
Windows 7 beta incompatible??
Hi,
Yes, Acronis is probably incompatible with the beta edition of Windows 7.
However it will probably work on the RC (release candidate) edition of Win 7 as Microsoft made this particular edition easy to work with and does work with many XP and Vista programs.
You cannot download the RC edition from Microsoft now but if you use and torrent clients download the RC edition from a torrent site.
Microsoft releases Windows 7 to the public next month but you still have until next March to evaluate Windows 7 RC.
Regards.
I have used acronis and win 7 with no issue.
Be aware though that win7 beta has a lot of versions so one may work fine and another maybe not.
As a Technet member I have the latest version and proper key etc.
Pirate versions may be subject to virus and other unwanted side effects.
Sharing my experience to say,if someone need windows product keys, you can go to www.zescode.com to got.I'm here to buy a key, a hundred percent genuine.
Hard disks with S.M.A.R.T. technology have internal checks that may identify problems with your hard disk that may lead to fatal failures, warning yu in advance (it is very common when people hit or let their laptops bump against the table - hard disk drives are very sensitive to shocks and bumps...)
First of all: BACK-UP ALL FILES YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT, SPECIALLY YOUR OWN DOCUMENTS!
One way to solve your problem could be to download and install a 30-day trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2011 from http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/ and use it to generate a full backup image of your hard disk into an external USB hard disk drive . Please, generate also the Bootable Rescue Media CD.
Then buy a replacement disk, install it in the laptop and use the Bootable Rescue CD to start Acronis True Image directly from the CD and recovery your backup, reinstalling everything back to your laptop, in just a few minutes.
Although using the trial version of Acronis True Image will help you in this emergency case, you might want to buy it as it is an exceptional tool to have for cases like this.
Another way would be to download all the drivers for the devices installed in your computer, save them in a CD or flash drive, buy and install a new hard disk, buy a Windows installation CD and reinstall your laptop from scratch, using the drivers you downloaded earlier to reinstall them to your laptop..
