I have tried unlocking the region code but when I follow the instructions and change it from Region 4 to Region 9, the 9 appears in top right hand corner, but when I turn the machine off the change doesn't stay. It reverts back to region 4. How do I make the change take effect? thanks
If you are limited by the region code of discs, you could get a region free player on your computer which can enable you to play Blu-ray and DVD discs from any regions. You could try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a region free and 4K Blu-ray player.
Though can try this:
1. Power ON
2. Press MENU
3. Enter code 57538
4. The current region code
5. For codefree press 9
6. Click on the Open DVD door button
7. Power OFF and power ON
8. Enjoy!
