I have a Karcher 3000 model G3060 OH WITH hONDA G190

I have a Karcher 3000 model G3060 OH WITH hONDA 190. The engine starts&runs with lots of white smoke, runs a short time and dies out.The unit has hardly been used. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob

Did you loan it to someone? Perhaps someone put a fuel/oil mixture in it thinking it is a 2-cycle engine. That could cause white smoke. The other thing that causes white smoke is an engine carburetor not getting the fuel/air ratio right for some reason. White smoke means too much air -- too little gas. Your fuel filter could be stopped up or your gas could be contaminated with water or diesel -- or 2-cycle engine oil.

It may be due to some water getting into the engine. I would change the gas and change the oil.

Karcher 2500 with Honda GVC160 5.5 engine. The carb is clean but it lopes unless the choke is partially closed and then it is better. Gas flow seems OK. Starts OK. When holding the governor it runs smoth....
Make sure the governor linkage is clean and works freely. A lot of times when you put a load on the machine, use it it stopps the fluttering.

Honda engine will not start,,,new plug, new gas, new oil
Karcher Model G2650 OH with Honda 6.0 HP, GC 190 Engine. Engine won't start. New gas, has spark. Seems to flood instantly. Much gas in cylinder. Spark plug wet. Choke pulled out, power on. Oil OK. released pressure in line. Where can I down load a Honda Engine manual! Thank you !

Have you tried changing the gas, Especially, if it has been in the machine of a while. Also some Honda engines will not start if the oil is low. Also try removing the high pressure hose before you start it? Do not run it very long without water flowing through the pump, though.

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

Honda GC190 engine shuts down on my Karcher 3000 PSI PW
Well would you believe that I have the very same problem. I suspected that the pump was seizing up, so we tried the pump on another unit and it worked fine. On inspection of the motor we found the cam (which also operates the decompression mechanism) was worn out. It's made of hard plastic. It is only about 7 dollars too, so cheap enough to fix. I have mine ordered now and feel pretty confident that that should fix it.

I have a problem with my karcher 2500 pressure washer with honda engine it will not start or stay running. I have used starting fluid to start it it starts but won't stay running.
Carb is mostly likely gummed up and should be cleaned. Best option is to dismantle the carb and soak in solvent or equivelant for a couple hours and replace it. Our use Gum Out. Do make sure you have a good spark plug and a strong spark. If you have a fuel filter, then replace it. Check intake filter as well
