Have lamp message in JVC HD-52Z585 to replace lamp #TS-CL110U.

Sounds like you just have a bad lamp. The buzzing sound would be the spark gap on the ballast trying to fire the lamp. Access door for the lamp is on the side in the rear. A few screws and pull it out, you'll prob find that the glass has broken inside. New lamp part# is TS-CL110U and around $170

The most common problem with JVC LCD rear projection TV is bulb failure. Do not panic, this is normal after 2-5 years of use.

You can change the complete assembly or for less cost just change the bulb. Do not use Osram or other funny brand "rebuilt" or locally made bulb. Use a Philips replacement and all should be good.

Changing the bulb involves removing the lamp assembly and taking it apart like a puzzle and replacing the bulb. JVC are a little more difficult to do than most others because the wires on the original bulb are molded into the glass on the original bulb. Wires must be cut and stripped of insulation before connecting to the new bulb.

The lamp is probably gone. Part # TS-CL110U. Easy to change yourself.

There aren't any issues being reported as far as I know. If you ever need to get a replacement TS-CL110U, you can actually get one for $155, brand new with free shipping.

These guys are correct, you need a new dlp lamp. The lamp # for your particular television model is the TS CL110UAA.

This is the lamp error code. The lamp part# for your unit is

There are no registered JVC service centers in your area for a rear projection HD. The closest one it shows is Cypress, CA...which isn't a lot of help for you.

I found this part on several websites as well as Ebay and JVCs website.

try to re seat the bulb again dont touch it lens or anything unplug ist as u do then reset timer on it ok in menu maby it just not in tight or came loose after 1st heat

It may be lamp, Look at the lamp and see if there is any discoloration inside, but do not touch the lamp glass. The oils from your hand will heat up and blow the lamp. The lamp part# for your model is TS-CL110u. Hope this helps.
