I turn on my ps3 then it shuts itself off immediately

This started to happen like a week ago, it used to happen only sometimes, but now it wont stop. After you turn on the console, it would sometimes just turn off by itself after a few minutes. Now, right after i turn it on, it immediately turns off. First the light blinks yellow one time, then it blinks red until u touch the turn on sensor, then it goes to solid red and stays at that. But it keeps repeating that problem and wont even turn on now. Can you please help me?

It seems that PS3 YLOD will rule the universe!!!
well, to fix this problem you will need:
artic silver thermal paste
Smd air sodering station
Soldering Flux
Soldering skills
So, your ps3 is cracking the bga solder under the ps3 CELL and RSX processors..to fix you will need to reflow these components with care..search for PS3 reflow tecniques on youtube...and others tutorials on internet it´s easy to find...google it...Good Luck

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado whose driver side seat warmer goes on by itself. It may cycle through all of the settings and turn off but usually will immediately turn itself on again. No amount of manual...
May be a slight short in the switch/button. Enough that it cycles the settings or just stays on. If you want it to stay off for now, look for a fuse or relay to pull. Come to think of it, might be a bad relay. If there is one for each seat, try swapping them out and see if the problem starts on the other seat. If it follows the relay, then there's your problem.

You should check for dry joints on the inverter board.
Resolder them and see if it solves the problem.

I was playing call of duty my ps3 turned off after that if i turn it on it freezes up and turns off. i tried reseting it through the beep double beep menu but it wont stay on long enough to finish, wtf
Through a connection in the internet
( or faulty parts whatever sony wants to tell you) playing that game ruined your Ps3 sometimes it can even be a game that you have been playing for months weeks even and something will just set it off your best bet is to find a repairman or to send it to sony and PRAY you still have a warranty (this happened to me only but 2 days ago)

the eye of the ps3(the thing that reads the games and dvds) may be scratched or damaged slightly to the point where it only occasionally wont read your games so you should call customer service at sony and run this question over with them and tell them about what i said.

My PS3 wont started up
Hey did you try a hard reset?
Shut the system off then turn it on.
You should now have the red light on the ps3.
Hold the power on and it will kick green beep then go back to red.
Then try to push power again.
If not it may be the heat transfer compound in the system which is wearing away causing it to over heat and shut down as a safety percaution.
