How do I enable the Auxillary option on my KDC-MP232 so I can play my MP3 player. I hooked it up using the aux. jacks in the back but it just played over the radio or cd player I do not know how to isolate it. When I rotate thru the different sources the auxillary is not an option. The only options I have are CD, Tunner, and Standbay. Thanks.

When your car is on, turn the stereo off. you should be able to access a menu somehow when the stereo is off. in that menu, you should have the option to toggle the aux source on or off. simply switch it to on, then turn the sterreo back on, and hit the source button. it should now be ready to go.

I dont understand how to play mp3 player on my kenwood cd player.I have the cord to hook it up to my kenwood radio but i dont know how to get the mp3 to play.

Just plug the cord into the front of the cd player where it says "AUX" and then plug the other end of the cord into the headphone / line out jack on any ipod or mp3 player then select "AUX" instead of CD and the sound will come through the system

Idont know how to get my aux. to work on my car cd player

You have to have the Auxillary cable plugged into the radio, and have it plugged into your device (ipod, phone, mp3 player) then hit the source button until you see Aux, then you have to start the music on your ipod or whatever your using and it will play through the car speakers

How to use MP3 on it

That model has a front-auxillary port on it.
Just purchase a cable online (http://www.yourcablestore.com/6-Foot-25mm-Stereo-Headphone-Cable-Male-Male_p_76.html) or in Walmart, BestBuy, etc.
When you get it, hook one end into the stereo and the other end to your MP3 player.
Set the Aux as the source and press Play on the MP3 player.

Yes, you can. It took me almost a month and about 70 dollars wasted to lfigure it out though. All you need is the the audio jack. Its a simple chord that runs to your aux jack in the back of your head unit. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE AUXILLARY CONTROLS ON THE CD PLAYER. YOU DO THIS FROM THE MENU SCREEN. The chord cost like five dollars at wal-mart.

Mp3 to aux input

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
