You need to have the ground attached to what you'll be welding on. Make sure there isn't anything on the end of your wire. Also, if your voltage is all the way down it won't do anything either. Oh, one more thing, make sure you have a contact tip on the end inside the cone. That will be the copper thing the wire goes through with a really small hole. I know some of this sounds pretty obvious but if I hadn't done these things at least once.....I wouldn't know what to look at either. I also don't know your experience level and want to cover all avenues. Hope you find it!

I think you mean you have a Miller Synchrowave 200.
Typically, you would want to use AC below about 250 amps. In this case (to keep it simple), use AC, adjust your balance to about 4, use an 1/8" pure tungsten, pure argon at about 20CFh, and set the panel at 170amps to get things started. For general purpose, use 4043 filler.
Now - these are just generic settings, but they will get you going.

Most gas welders double as gasless welders. Just buy the flux core wire and use it without the gas on.

Is your material clean? A little bit of foreign material on it will make a big difference. Mig welding can't stand rust, oils, excessive mill scale, moisture, and paints.Is your wire clean, no rust on it, and dry? Another problem could be magnetic arc blow.That is when your welding, and you get huge amounts of spatter blowing from your puddle as you weld. To stop that, move your ground to a different location, or move your material to a different angle.Its caused by the magnetic energy created from the current running from your ground, through your material and into your arc. Try Pam cooking spray for anti spatter.

Work Cable ( - ) To Workpiece Weld cable and work cable connections to power source (DCEN/DCEP) are dependant on wire type.
Since feeder is not polarity sensitive, there is no need for an electrode polarity switch.
Voltage Sensing Clamp Connect voltage sensing clamp to
workpiece.
Gas Hose to regulator.
Gas Cylinder to regulator.
Use of shielding gas is dependant on wire type.
