No sound from tV speakers

I would need the model number to give you explicit instructions, but typically there is a menu option for turning on/off the internal speakers. If the set is old enough, there may be a physical switch in the back to turn off the internal speakers. I think that the menu option is under the audio settings.

Please update this with the model so I can look up the specifics.

Check your speaker, use a battery 1.5vdc tap it to speaker wire if the speaker is ok you can hear a click sound as the wire touches the battery + & - .
