after three years i found the remote that will work and its a rca r55n7 that works on sat,tv,dvd and it works fine hope this helps everyone out. jerry from iowa

tivo button is the Directv button (tivo home) at the top of the remote. if u have the new directv remote, the tivo home button is the menu button. remote needs to be on satellite. to program codes.
