Maytag washer stops during cycle usually when entering spin/drain cycle. try to back up into wash cycle, where it was just working, wont run. will only finish in gentle cycle

check th elid switch to unit as it may have failed... it will stop the unit from going into a spin cycle and draining,,, give that a look and repost if you have anymore questions... good luck
