My storm battery icon was yellow then went to all red. I have it turned off and charging right now and indicator light is blinking greenish red? Is there a problem or does it just need charged

During charging, RECHARGE indicator turns red, when the indicator is fashing,

that means battery is almost full and turns OFF when fully charged.

To let you know that it's charging It will turn solid red or change to a different color when the charge is complete
I bet if you read the paper work that came with flashlight it will explain the operating functions.

With most cameras, an amber, yellow, or red light indicates a battery that's currently charging. A blue or green light usually means the battery is charged. A blinking light sometimes indicates a charging error; other times, it indicates a battery that is still charging.or faulty battery.
have you tried,take the battery out and then put it back in?.
make sure the battery is seated.and its making a good contact.

All the battery lights should be on and the yellow speed control should not be blinking. a flashing red indicates charging is needed. Strege Mobility

It is the battery Status indicator and flasing orange light indicates that battery is low. After connecting the charger it should turn solid green, which indicates that the battery is charging and it turns off when battery is charged completely.
If it continously blinks, check out the charger and battery.

I've been struggling with the same problem and could not figure out what the heck was goin on. When I would connect the camera to the charger the red light (indicating charging) would come on for like maybe 10 minutes. I could take pics for like 30 minutes then the camera would lose juice. Also, the green battery icon (indicating a full charge) would only stay green for like 1 minute then it would go right to the yellow battery icon (half charge). After a couple of weeks the red light indicater would only come on for like a second. I played around with mine and realized that the battery terminals were not connecting to the power source inside the battery holder. Basically the battery wasn't snug enough inside the battery holder to connect to the power. When I pushe the battery in with my finger the red light indicater would stay on. So I took a little piece of paper (folded slightly) and wedge it in the battery holder and closed the battery holder cover. Hope this makes sense! (And helps.)

You may have to replace the rechargeable lithium ion battery. (Even rechargeable batteries have a life-span :)

If the machine works properly with no problems, it's probably the battery light, indicating that the battery is no longer working properly, ie.. not charging, not holding a charge, not charging completely, etc... and needs replacing. Somewhere right around the light there should be an icon or symbol, I'm betting a little battery icon.

if it show fully battery also when u charge your battery it show from the red indicate only tht is not a problem... u need to charge the battery fully ... untill the msg shown as charge complet .. so need not to worry about the Red blinking battery indicator when you plug in charger.
